So I'm taking a break from my pile of things to do, but just wanted to let you all know we're still alive! Things have been busier than usual even. I'm in the NICU this month so my schedule is pretty full, and I have some research projects that need to be submitted 1OCT that I'm trying to wrap up. Basically, life should get a lot mellower in the next week, but until then we're pretty busy! We haven't been up to much fun lately because of all this, but we did go to the Puyallup Fair about a week ago and that was a lot of fun--we ate all sorts of great Fair food and enjoyed some pretty great people-watching. Bob drove home to remodel a shower for his grandma, which she really liked, and we're still playing softball on Tuesdays--tonight is the playoffs, so we'll see if we make it! Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the start of fall! It's cooling off here--it was 64 inside this morning, so I just turned the heat on for the first time of the season! Have a great day.

P.S. I found out there are 4 applicants, counting myself, for the 1 Peds GI fellowship slot.... so we'll see. I'm pretty confidant that at least one of those people is probably higher ranking so I probably will be headed elsewhere next year, but we'll find out in December!

That will be very nice next week when you can relax even a little. Hope you guys do awesome in the playoffs! Do we get to see pics of your softball skills? I can't believe those other people applied for YOUR fellowship - jerks! Well, if there is someone more senior than you I guess they will just have to open up two slots to get you in!!
oh I hope you don't have to leave! Sorry you are sooo busy.
PS this is actually Brooke
I hope for your sake you get some down time. You deserve it. Good Luck with the GI. Even though its SO far away. Keep us posted
Yeah My parents and GRMA keep bragging about what a good job Bob did.
