More Belly pics and baby stuff

Here I am at 26 Weeks!

Here is the most recent shot! This is 27 weeks--I feel pretty large and in charge already, so it is hard to imagine how much more growth the next 13 weeks will be! We go to Hawaii in a week and I have my next appt Monday when we get back and will officially be entering my 3rd trimester! We're really looking forward to this last big trip together just the 2 of us and especially to have an extra-laid back trip since we'll be a bit limited on the physically demanding stuff given my *delicate* state. :) We have a lot of site-seeing planned as well as just laying on the beach and swimming! So exciting! We are getting more excited every day to meet this guy! We've started to figure out what we we're getting for most of the major things he'll need so that's exciting! We've enjoyed bargain hunting for a lot of these and have found some great deals. Thanks to all our friends and family who've offered boy clothes especially since it seems everyone's recently had baby boys! He'll definitely be well-dressed!

Here's our votes on baby stuff so far--please feel free to offer your thoughts too--this is all based on reading/reviews/friends and family recommendations so far!

Stroller: Bob revolution with the adaptor for the Graco Snugride

Carseat: Graco Snugride 35 (Hathaway is the print--so cute! Only at BuyBuyBaby.com, but since this is one of the few things we'll definitely buy new, price is pretty much the same everywhere. :)
Infant Carrier: Debating still between the Ergo and Baby Trekker: The Ergo has the infant insert which is a huge plus, however the Trekker lets the baby face out as well, which is also a big plus.... Leaning toward the Trekker based on the majority of reviews we've read.
ERGObaby® Performance Carrier and Accessories - Grey

Pump: Universally my resident/working Mom friends have all recommended the Medela Freestyle and thanks to Liz I have a great website to get it $100 less than everywhere else!

Bedding: We found this cute fabric at Target and LOVE it!

Carolyn is also making us an awesome minky and flannel blanket with baby blue minky on one side and this super cute animal print on the other:
Lovely Flannel cotton fabric - Zoo (Background in Brown) - 18 inch X 21.5 inch

Diaper Genie: doing the real deal to hold the stink in :) Less of an issue until he starts solids, but seemed worth the extra cost even though those refills aren't too cheap.

Playtex® Diaper Genie® II Elite Disposal System and Refills
On that classy note, we're excited for this little guy to come! It's felt so far away the whole time but now it's starting to feel closer, especially as I get bigger and bigger each day! We'll keep you all posted!

New Year's Eve Fun.... with human pyramids!

I started on a big Christmas post to catch up and it's in progress but really big so I'll finish it in some other day! In the meantime, here are some stolen pics from Mandy's blog from our super fun New Year's! It was great fun to see Cristy and Nathaniel and Troy too! These are all from the Poteet's camera which does a timer with 10 pics at a time, which totally beats our 3 at a time which I always thought was pretty neat. :)

We 're all making 11's for 2011!
Even more 11's!

George and I tried to make a 2011 together but you need a mirror to fully appreciate it... were tricky like that ;)

Show off your socks!

Some awesome High 5's

We're a pretty burly group--I especially like Georgey's massive guns! :)

The next obvious pose would be to eat each other's heads, right? :)

Pure crazy fun :)

That's some classy group nose-picking!

Now it's PYRAMID TIME! If you don't know this about me, I really love a human pyramid. I feel there aren't enough of these in regular life and seek out opportunities for them when possible! One of the most memorable human pyramids was when Mandy and I were on a softball team the summer after 8th grade with BRIGHT pink shirts. I will have to look through and find that pic and scan it into this post someday because that pyramid was awesome! The whole team is a pyramid, and there is a LOT of bright pink. :) My thanks to my husband for allowing this to come to fruition despite my *delicate* state--you'll note I was on the bottom with no risk of abdominal injury at his request. :)

Here we are getting set up!

Grayam is so tall!

Getting closer!

Now this is looking like a pyramid!

Grayam loved being the top!

Georgey's loving being up top too!

Goofy pyramid!

Leaning pyramid!

And.... collapse :)

Good fun was had on this pyramid!

Recovering from pyramid fun

Georgey and Grayam love rough-housing!

That was some good fun!

I hope you all had a great New Year's Eve too! We were so glad to be home and see some great friends and family and especially appreciated our awesome New Year's with the Poteets! We sure miss them and have lived far from them our whole married lives so we appreciate the time we do get to spend with them so much! Hopefully we'll see them again soon and their boys will get to meet our own little guy!

24.5 Weeks

This is a little late, but here's the belly last week at 24.5 weeks! I'm still feeling well with only minimal complaints, so I'm thankful for that! Work is going well and we've had a bit more time recently to relax together which is great. :) Bob has been very helpful as always and takes good care of me so I just relax on the couch most nights after I get home--probably the reason why I've not had too much swelling yet of my feet yet!

Last weekend we went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point with Jared and had a lot of fun. We've never been there but always heard it was impressive, and it was pretty cool! We started the day at a nice breakfast place down in Provo called Magleby's and had all you can eat French toast which was delicious! Then we enjoyed the museum, then had a yummy lunch at JCW's and went to a movie, the Adjustment Bureau, which was great. On our way home we hit Ikea and picked up a few things including some pillows for our new couch, a cute hippo rattle for the baby, and some frames for his room. :) A good Saturday overall and we had a nice time relaxing on Sunday.

Not a lot else new here! Hope all is well with you and we'll post a new belly pic soon--Bob took one today, but it was a tentish shirt so it really accentuates my growing bump!
